Sandra Hedges is a specialist in her chosen field of Acupuncture with a 4 year Bachelor of Health Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (Bach.H.Sc.Acu). Sandra is an active member of the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia with registration as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist and an accredited member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).  

Sandra has both studied and travelled extensively throughout the US, SE Asia and China continually keeping up to date with latest techniques and information through professional development seminars and extensive post-graduate training. Sandra has also worked in Asia volunteering her services within remote paediatric and women’s health clinics which was an extremely rewarding experience and highlight of her career.     

 In practice Sandra enjoys treating all types of conditions both men and women’s but has a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions and pain management, successfully treating many clients with sports or gym injuries. Other specialty areas include fertility and IVF support, menopause and neurological disorders having great success with stroke/nerve damage.  Sandra is also passionate in promoting acupuncture for stress, anxiety and depression. With modern life placing huge demands on us, acupuncture is clinically proven to help relax and calm the body to better manage stress, anxiety and depression naturally.                              

In addition Sandra has a keen interest in cosmetic acupuncture having undergone post graduate studies under leading experts in this exciting field which combines traditional TCM skills with modern science. Sandra is also licensed to prescribe patent Chinese herbal formulas for added wellness support.

Sandee is a qualified, licensed Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner with over 17 years clinical experience.

Sandee facilitates and empowers her patients to realise their own healing potential. Offering an holistic approach, her work encompasses acupuncture, massage, cupping, electroacupuncture, moxibustion, Qi Gong, Western and Chinese herbal medicine, Sho Ni Shin, dietary and lifestyle advice.

Sandee graduated with a Diploma of Herbal Medicine and a Graduate Diploma in Acupuncture (TCM) at the Australian Institute of Holistic Medicine and also studied as an apprentice with Master Andrew Tem-Foo Lim.

In 2005, Sandee travelled to China with Master Lim where she attended workshops on Chinese Orthopaedic Medicine, Qigong and Acupotomy also working in Longhua Hospital Shanghai University of TCM in specialist clinics treating hundreds of patients each day which exposed her to Chinese Medicine diagnoses and treatment methods.

Sandee practices and teaches Qi Gong, which assists her to be in touch with her own Qi (energy) and that of her patients. She is a Master Ziran Qigong Instructor and trains with Master Liu Deming (5th generation of the Ziranmen lineage).

Sandee has a special interest in Women’s health and natural fertility. She is a “Fertile Life Method Practitioner”, has trained with Kirsten Wolfe who continues to be a mentor in fertility, IVF support and pregnancy care. In 2013 she studied Sho Ni Shin for children and Obstetrics/ Gynaecology with Dr Soma Devi which included a beautiful remote community paediatric and woman’s health clinic in Northern Bali.

Miranda Yates graduated with Distinction from Endeavour College of Natural Medicine with a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in 2012. Having been introduced to Acupuncture as a child, Miranda was aware from a very young age that Chinese Medicine would be her life pursuit and practice.

Miranda has extensive experience treating a wide range of conditions however has a specialised clinical focus in the areas of Musculoskeletal and Reproductive Medicine.

Miranda is fascinated by anatomical structure and function and loves to support her patients through musculoskeletal injury, degenerative and inflammatory disorders in addition to the management of acute and chronic pain.

Miranda also loves working with athletes to help them avoid training injuries whilst enhancing their performance and quickening their recovery time. She has become especially proficient in the sports of Ironman, Triathlon, Ultramarathon and Surfing.

In the reproductive, fertility and women’s health space Miranda works with ladies for a variety of reasons, the most common being; hormonal imbalances, cycle irregularities, PMT symptoms, pre-natal/pregnancy/post-natal care, morning sickness, infertility (explained or unexplained), IVF support, labour inductions, hormone related emotional fluctuations and menopausal symptoms.

As passionate about Chinese Medicine as it gets Miranda takes her ongoing training and education very seriously. Miranda enjoys travelling both internationally and domestically to learn from the brightest leaders in her field.

Miranda has been practicing Acupuncture for over 10 years and has had the pleasure of serving the South-West community of Dunsborough and surrounds since she moved to Western Australia from Queensland in 2013. She founded Dunsborough Acupuncture in 2017 of which she is now the owner and principal practitioner.

Dr Jan practices at the Margaret River Surgery in Margaret River, Western Australia. Professor Jan has a sincere interest in pain management with a focus on non-pharmacological modalities such as acupuncture.
